External evaluation for a higher quality in the toddler groups

Every kindergarten in Berlin is subject to regular inspections carried out by a supplier approved by the Senate Department for Education, Youth and Science.

The objective of these external inspections is to provide the kindergarten with a professional external assessment of its educational work. This includes statements on direct and indirect work with children, team work between colleagues and the organisation of cooperation with parents.

This allows us to identify our strengths and work continuously towards new goals and areas of activity. It means we can analyse the daycare conditions at the kindergarten, evaluate processes and results and learn how we can consistently improve our assessment of the effectiveness of our work.
