Unique Advent Calendar in Kindergarten: A Project of Community and Creativity

Dear Parents and Friends of the Kindergarten,

We are delighted to share with you a special project in our setting: our 'Advent Calendar of a Different Kind'. This year we have decided to celebrate the pre-Christmas period in a unique and creative way by involving the children in the creation of a community Advent calendar.

Each family was asked to design a shoebox, label it with the childs name and fill it with a Christmas song or poem, a favourite Christmas book and a selection of Christmas treats. The creativity and individuality expressed in each box is impressive and will show how unique each child in our community is.

These boxes will be opened daily in our morning circle from 1st December. This is a wonderful opportunity for the children not only to share their own contributions, but also to learn about and appreciate those of their friends.

We would like to thank all the parents for their support and cooperation in this project. Your enthusiasm and your children's commitment make this Advent season a memorable experience for all of us.

We look forward to the days ahead and to sharing the joy and magic of this special time of year.
